She was born in 1993 in South Shields, where she grew up alongside her brother. She loved music since her early ages and in 2011 came to the audition to join British X Factor TV show. That is where she was offered to become a member of Little Mix group, with Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

The group has recorded 5 studio albums so far and is extremely popular in the UK. Perrie Edwards graduated from Newcastle College where she studied performing arts.

She was engaged to Zayn Malik from One Direction but the couple split. In 2021 she became a mom to a lovely son, and shortly after got engaged to his father, a soccer player Alex Oxlade. As of the mid 2024 the number of followers on her Instagram account is exceeding 19 million people.
