Eminem has finally revealed the release date for his highly anticipated 12th studio album, ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)’.

Today (July 2), the rapper – who also goes by the alias Slim Shady – shared the release date via a new trailer.

In the trailer, we see a woman giving birth to a baby, who soon begins displaying demonic attributes. The album’s release date is then confirmed for next Friday (July 12).

Ahead of the new album, today (July 2) Eminem will release the record’s second single, ‘Tobey’, featuring Big Sean and BabyTron.

A music video will arrive on Friday (July 5). ‘Tobey’ is Eminem’s first collaboration with BabyTron and his fourth with Big Sean – they’ve worked together on the tracks ‘No Favors’, ‘Friday Night Cypher’ and ‘Detroit Vs. Everybody’ in the past.

It follows on from ‘Houdini’, which was released on May 31 and interpolates a number of Eminem’s previous hits as well as ‘Abracadabra’ by the Steve Miller Band.
