The fourth series of Mount Pleasant will begin next month.
Starring Sally Lindsay, Daniel Ryan and Samantha Womack, the comedy-drama returns for eight new episodes at 9pm on Tuesday 16 September on Sky Living.
Series 3 was full of ups and downs for the locals, especially for Lisa (Lindsay) and Dan (Ryan), who were rocked by Dan’s fling with neighbour Tanya (Womack).
Against the odds, Pauline (Paula Wilcox) and Charlie (David Bradley) finally made it down the aisle, and Lisa reconciled with Dan, announcing that she was expecting their first child.
In the new series, Lisa and Dan eagerly await the arrival of their baby, but tantrums and drama are already in full flow – and that’s just Dan.
The unexpected homecoming of his wayward brother Robbie (Daniel Ings) raises a red flag, whereas everyone else is positively giddy about his return.
